Coventry and Warwickshire climate change conference
On 11 March 2022, the seven local authorities in the Coventry and Warwickshire sub-region met to agree collaborative working and information sharing to address the challenges of climate change.

It was the first step for the organisations and their partners to identify how we can work together to address complex climate issues and to maximise our collective impact on actions to achieve net zero by 2050.
The conference began with introductions from Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands and Margot James, Executive Chair of WMG.
In the morning, each of the seven local authorities shared an update on their position and progress to date:
