Shrewley & Wroxall: Inspiring ideas for local community action

Join the Low Carbon Warwickshire Network in October for the launch of the Shrewley and Wroxall Environment Action Team (SWEAT).
If you're interested in doing your bit for the planet and combatting the Climate Emergency for now and future generations, this is your opportunity to find out more about a host of inspiring ideas for local community action to improve our environment.
Speakers from local organisations and the community will share ideas for discussion on a range of hot topics.
- Food for thought – enjoy a freshly cooked snack and find out ways of reducing waste, by sharing produce and ideas for cooking simple, delicious food
- Confused about recycling? You’re not the only one
- Sustainable buildings for living and working – learn more about the green features of Wren Hall and hear about ways to save energy, including retrofit, in your own home
- Nature matters – step into the incredible world of soil, trees, hedges, wildflowers and an imagined orchard. Find out more about what natural riches are on your doorstep. How can we help protect and enhance this wonderful resource and what can we aim to achieve locally?
There will also be time for discussion and sharing ideas. The event is free to attend and will include a freshly cooked snack and coffee/tea.
The Shrewley and Wroxall Environment Action Team is part of the Low Carbon Warwickshire Network and the event is supported by the RSA. *SWEAT includes Beausale, Haseley and Honiley.
