Climate Café 2023 coming to Rugby – Saturday 29 April

Rugby Community Climate Cafe April 2023

If you are concerned about Climate Change or simply want to find out ways you can do your bit for the planet, head to the Rugby Climate Café event taking place at the Alexandra Art on April 29.

You can come down and meet our Safe and Active Travel team. They’ll be there to offer guidance and encouragement on exploring more sustainable modes of transport such as walking and cycling.

They'll also be available to answer your questions and provide information on active travel in and around Rugby, perfect if you’re looking for ways to leave the car at home more often!

The event has been organised by Transition Town Rugby and runs from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 29 April in the unique environment of the Alexandra Art – a former pub turned into a brilliant new arts venue in Rugby town centre.

About Climate Cafes

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing our planet today. It is a complex issue that affects all of us and finding solutions requires a collective approach.

Climate cafés are community-based initiatives that aim to bring people together to discuss climate change and the impacts on their lives. The event provides a platform for open and honest discussions about climate change, as well as a space to share knowledge and learn from each other's experiences.
